Puppy Training Overview

RAISING A WELL-ROUNDED PUPPY TAKES A VILLAGE

Urban Pawsibilities is a dog training facility in Portland, Oregon. We offer many different opportunities for your puppy to learn, socialize, & get the skills they need in their sensitive socialization window!

โ€œThe primary and most important time for puppy socialization is the first three months of life. During this time puppies should be exposed to as many new people, animals, stimuli and environments as can be achieved safely and without causing overstimulation manifested as excessive fear, withdrawal or avoidance behavior.โ€

  • We take puppies that are not potty trained, and can work on that with your puppy while they are with us.

  • Please disclose any food allergies or sensitivities your dog may have in their profile before signing up for services. If they require special treats outside of the scope of what we provide at the facility, you are responsible for supplying us with treats appropriate for your dog.

  • If you dog has any contagious illnesses: kennel cough, giardia, oral warts, or if your female dog is in heat, they cannot attend drop off services at the facility until they are no longer contagious. Should we notice any of these abnormalities, your dog will be isolated and you will be called to pick them up or turned away at drop off. We recommend dogs that are experiencing digestive upset (vomiting and diarrhea) also stay home.
